Brazilian Culture
Religion
It is really hard to show how geographic maps show religious diffusion, but one way is by using a religion map. This way, you can show where certain religions are more common and what religions more people follow.
The most followed religion in Brazil is Catholicism. When the Portuguese colonized Brazil in the 16th century, Brazil has been overwhelmingly Catholic. Brazil has more Roman Catholics than any other country in the world with 123 million followers. The colonizers built Catholic churches, along with the statue of Jesus Christ on top of Mount Corcovado in Rio de Janeiro, and began to teach the people Catholic practices. Considering how many people had declared themselves Catholic followers, Catholicism used to be the official religion of Brazil, but in the 19th century Brazilian independence brought the end of nationwide religion. Now, there is multiple religions, like Protestantism, Orthodox Christianity, Buddhism, Spiritism, and more. Brazil has many religions because of the diversity in people and culture.

Language
The landscape of a region can impact language diffusion in many ways. If there are mountains or an ocean in between to regions, this can make it more difficult for other cultures to mix and interact, resulting in languages not being transmitted to other cultures.
Combining of Culture's
The Brazilian culture is one of the world's most varied and diverse, making it unique and beautiful. The many different cultures of Brazil, including the Indian, African, and most dominant Portuguese impact the way Brazil's culture is different from many other's. An example of the lingua franca in Brazil is how the indigenous people's language, Tui-Guarani, strongly influenced Brazilian Portuguese and the culture as well, especially in the Amazon basin.
African culture is more noticeably influencing Brazil's culture along the coast between the Northeast and Rio de Janeiro with it's religion, the traditional foods, music, and dancing. Europe and North America also strongly impact the culture of Brazil with imported goods, but the nation's cultural identity is disappearing because of it.

Centripetal and Centrifugal Forces
A centrifugal force within Brazil is the economic inequality. There is a wide range of lacking education, funding, and housing for those in poverty, making them unable to move into a better economic class.
Two centripetal forces in Brazil are the Olympics as well as the national anthem. The national anthem unifies the nation because it embodies a cheerful tone. It celebrates the second emperor of Brazil and overall connects the whole country in order to give a stamp of nationalism. The Olympics brings people from across the nation together. They can congregate and have an enjoyable experience without disagreement. The encouraging of people to enjoy an experience together is centripetal.
